"A good electric under-blanket. I put it under my fleece mattress topper because the wires were a little uncomfortable at first. It doesn't really provide "that bit of extra softness" as far as the material goes. However, it fits well and doesn't slide even without using the cords. Does take awhile to heat up (15 mins), and the second setting was the first one I noticed. Good value if you want a warm bed at an economical price. If you are very sensitive to lumps etc, get a thicker one."
