"Being impatient, I needed a powerful dryer for my long thick hair and got this. It's certainly quicker than any models that I have ever used, and I am very happy. It's so quick that hair dries up before fully loaded kettle boils. It is not too heavy and the cord length is more than enough for me. The size is long and big, so it is not handy to carry around though, but then you will get a compact one for that purpose. I only use one fixed combination of setting, so am not aware of the benefit of various settings."
