"This is a nice looking uplighter - perfect for the money - shade is plastic which feels a bit rubbish but when its all put together it looks fine. You can alter the height of the stand as well by adjusting the amount of sections that you add to get the overall height that you want."

"This item is just right for what I need. as it is ideal for reading under but it really does need to have a light bulb supplied with it, even if the price is a little higher."

"At first I thought the shade looked cheap (because it is) but when it was assembled and lit up it was much better than I thought. For the price it is excellent value for the money."

"I bought this item to use as a security feature. Because of the height I was able to use it in conjunction with a time switch and it appears as though my central lounge light is on. A bargain at the price."
