"A kettle like many others - but more expensive. The major fault is that the indicator level is not visible when filling the kettle and is still difficult to see when the kettle is placed on the heating stand. This is due to the scale being on the spine of the kettle behind the handle. Yes it boils quickly and efficiently but ..."

"Good value for money compared to other kettles of this design by a good quality manufacturer. The "one cup" fill is a good "green" feature which also saves money in the long run.
This was a replacement for a similar model bought over three years ago, which was used a huge amount.
The only criticism is it's sometimes difficult to see how much water is in the kettle via the water guide, but that's the only reason it's not awarded five starts."

"I bought this kettle because it looks good. The fill indicator is under the handle so it doesn't spoil the look of the kettle as side indicators can. It is good to use and pours very well. Only drawback is the indicator is a little hard to see when filling but that's a small price to pay for a good product."

Good Kettle

"You fill it with cold water, flick a switch and a few minutes later you've got boiling water. Simples.
But what makes this kettle different to others. Firstly it looks nice. Whatever your decor is, the stainless steel design will fit in well. Secondly the handle is comfortable and easy to hold. I even found I could use the kettle with no difficulty when I had hurt my thumb and couldn't grip properly.
The kettle is balanced well. Some kettles I have used in the past just don't feel right when full with water. It also pours well without dribbling and with accuracy. The one cup facility could be useful for those only wanting to boil just enough water for a single cup of coffee.
Finally, the 360 degree base means that you can put the kettle down in any position.
BUT there are a few drawbacks. The stainless steel means that the kettle gets hot. This might seem obvious, but since getting married all of our kettles have been made of plastic and I have accidently brushed my hand or arm against our kettles with no ill effects. I only did this once with this kettle, a lesson soon learnt.
Also the level indicator is behind the handle and impossible to see when you are actually filling the ketlle up. You have to take it away from the tap to have a look to see how much water you have put in, only a minor niggle.
Overall a good purchase."
