"To come immediately to the point. I rate the Philips HR2000/ 50 Food Blender very highly indeed It is compact with good capacity, very robustly constructed overall, simple to strip and clean PROPERLY!!!. It is powerful, relatively quiet and does what it was designed to do extremely well. I have had a number of blenders over the years, this particular one is probably the best."

"I had bought one of the value range blenders and it broke, so took it back and paid a little extra for this one.So glad I did, its quieter, looks better, easier to fit the jug on the base.All in all a brilliant blender. Would definitely buy this product again. Comes with 3 year guarantee ......so Phillips obviously know its good quality."

"I bought this as my last blender stopped working in the middle of making soup. I like the fact you can remove the blade to clean. I'm not so keen on the bottom of the jug attachment to the motor as it is plastic and you have to be careful as it looks like it wouldn't take much to break one of the plastic bits on the base. The blender however seems brilliant you have a pulse and two speeds for blending (which it blended my soup brilliantly). The jug is large (plastic but won't shatter if you put hot liquids in) and the whole blender looks good. Also has suckers on the base unit to stop it moving about whilst blending."
