Re-writable DVDs. Can record over and over again. Rewritable discs are either DVD+ RW or DVD-RW. Most DVD recorders and writers are dual format so are able to accept both DVD+RW and DVD-RW discs. However older machines may only accept either DVD+RW or DVD-RW discs not both types.
