There are 3 different types of bathroom showers in our range and the right one for you will depend on your hot water system and your mains water pressure.
Electric showers require a cold water supply only. An element within the shower heats the cold water as it passes through the unit to the shower head, providing an instant supply of hot water whenever it is required. There’s no pump involved, so the amount of water will depend on your mains water pressure.
Ideal for families, they are economical to run as you only heat the water you need, and they're the only type of shower that's independent of the hot water system, so if your boiler fails you can still have a hot shower.
Electric showers accept water and electric connections from either the left or right, or in some cases, from both sides. For ease of installation when replacing your shower, look for a model that matches the water and electric connections of your current shower.
Mixer showers require a supply of both hot and cold water. The water is mixed together to produce the desired showering temperature.
If you have a low pressure system, adding a shower pump will boost the water flow to provide a more powerful flow rate.
Power showers require a supply of both hot and cold water. A built-in pump boosts the flow of water to provide an invigorating shower. They are able to deliver up to 14 litres of water per minute.
As well as these various types of showers we also sell a large range of shower enclosures, surrounds and accessories to help you create your perfect bathroom.
