ISOFIX

The ISOFIX system makes installation and removal quick and easy, securing your car seat to the main structure of the car.  It reduces the risk of misuse and forward or sideward movement of the seat by limiting the rotation through a foot prop or top tether.  Must be used in conjunction with ISOFIX anchorage points.  Not all cars have ISOFIX.

Safety tips

  • Never place a rear-facing child seat in a seat where there is an active frontal airbag.  Forward facing car seats should be as far back from the airbag as possible.  Always check the car handbook.
  • It is best to use a rearward-facing seat for as long as possible until your baby reaches the maximum weight or when their head is above the top of the seat.
  • It is now illegal for a child under the age of 12 or under 1.35 metres (approx 4ft 5ins) in height to travel without a car seat.
  • IMPORTANT: Do not use on a passenger seat fitted with an airbag.  Always check the car handbook and take time to read the manufacturer’s instructions before fitting.

All the car seats we sell are approved to United Nations Regulations ECE R44.03
