"Definitely needed this for the television. However, on the downside set up instructions were appalling - took two days to get any sound through the tv to the home cinema. DVDs played fine however tv sound was nil. After a lot of phonecalls and advice from Sony direct and Sony shop still could not get any. Then worked out ourselves that it needed to go into the sound out ie. headphone socket not the sound in socket on the back of tv."

"What a system, i am so pleased with this product. sound quality is amazing. Radio, TV, Bluray, DVD, and ipod docking functions. what more do you need. Connects to 2 HDMI inputs and scart if needed...
Best surround sound for its price."
