"rubbish! looks good but sound quality is extremely poor. remote control was faulty. returned immediately and bought a philips 2.1 at the same cost which is superb.."

"I've initially bought another argos (home cinema system) and I've changed it with this Samsung. The first system didn't support the 250GB external HDD and it required FAT32 format, so I've went for the second system, which did. It has the disadvantage that is more plastic look alike, but the sound is quite good for a 5.1 It's clear and powerful. Obviously there is ONE annoying thing. It doesn't memorise the sound settings, so if you close it, it will go back to default. If you can get over this I would recommend it to anybody that want's good quality and clear sound. I've bought the Samsung LED TV after that and they are working even better together with one of the remotes I control them both and the Surround is amazing, enhanced by the system and TV."

"I brought this as my old surround sound system broke down. I set it all up with my 14 year old son and it was very easy to follow the instruction manual. Unless you have a Samsung TV you do have to have the dvd and tv on different channels ie. sky on AV , DVD on EXT1 but this is not a problem for us. The sound is good and easy to adjust depending on what you are watching (more bass on action films etc). The speakers are clear with no fuzzy sounds but you will need some extension cable unless your room is very small but all systems have the same issue.
I would recommend this product if you want a simple easy to use system."

"Quite pleased with this machine, although we did have a couple of problems at first with it. The staff were brilliant at sorting it out. Since we have changed the whole unit over for a complete new system as the old one kept dying, it has been great. The quality of the sound is great."
