"Compared to the Sony Media Player that I already have this is third rate, which I find disappointing as I have a number of Philips Entertainment products and usually they deliver what they state in the Product literature! It could not find my wi-fi in the room that I bought it for (the Sony could) and it was not easy to connect to my wi-fi even when in the same room as the access point! It worked really weel with my homenetwork and NAS devices but the internet was a complete wast of time! No BBC iplayer even though the data sheet stated that this was installed, only internet service that worked was You Tube! Also the player crashed 3 times in internet mode and had to be disconnected at the mains.
Needless to say I am going to return it!"

"I bought the Philips Smart TV HD Media Player we are very happy with our purchase, I ordered it on line and went to collect it in store it only took me about two minutes from entering the store to collecting my goods everything went smoothly with the puchase and I am delighted with the player which is very simple to use and works a dream"
