"Having purchased Hitachi gear for many years, I am very disappointed with this product.
Cheap looking and feel when you get it out the box.
Poor remote control when it worked.
Awful radio tuning.
Rattly speakers.
Poor tone.
Noisey CD operation.

Good for iPod

"I purchased this product to listen to the radio as well as the my iPod.
The function for the iPod works good, only product I can't put the volume up or down from the remote (bummer).

The radio is not digital so you have to tune in the station you want and because the antenna is short, the reception isn't as good as I would have liked.
But overall it's good for its price"
