"Good stuff: smaller than many DAB radios and fairly light, even with the battery pack in; it is easy to tune and pretty intuitive to use, with or without the instructions - it found all the stations that I expected; the display is not over bright when switched off (so if you are not using it at night it doesn't light your room up)
Not so good: it is small, but it is certainly not pocket size; although you can store 16 stations, there are no direct access buttons - you have to preset either "presets" or "stations" to change channel, then rotate the volume knob to select one, and press the rotate knob to confirm - this is easy enough in daylight but if you are trying to do it discretely at night you need a good memory about what is where; when it is switched on the display is very bright, so again not a problem in the day but discrete night time may need you to cover it; without the battery pack it is not much use as a portable and the battery pack is fairly expensive; it seems a bit pointless that you can feed a line input such as an MP3 player into it - why wouldn't you just use your headphones on the MP3 player?"

Excellent radio - but not a CLOCK radio!

"We bought this to replace a very old bedside clock-radio. In the Argos catalogue it was described (and still is) as "portable DAB clock radio". It wasn't till we got it home that we realised that it has no alarm/wake-up or snooze settings, and the clock display only works when the radio is on! It's an excellent little radio, user-friendly and with good sound quality, and we decided to keep it because we wanted a second DAB radio, but we still had to buy a "proper" clock radio elsewhere."

"Quick delivery and arrived promptly. Easy to use, but read the instructions first. Full range of programmes received and tone is good. The only reason it did not get 4 stars was the price of getting a battery pack. I use mine always connected to the mains so no problem for me, but if you needed to use it mobile the battery pack is very expensive"

"This is my first digital radio and I am so happy that I purchased one.
The sound quality is great, its small and neat, a good price and easy to use.
Not much more to add apart from it runs of mains, and can use batteries too.
Good times!!!"
