"Easy to setup straight out of the box and even better is powered via the included USB cable. Was needed in an emergency as old CD drive would not read CDs/DVDs. This worked a treat! Excellent buy."

"Worked first time out of box, comes with a small bundle of software which is optional. Have used the product with both XP and windows 7, plug and play feature works on both. CD/DVD drawer
looks flimsey and probably would not stand up to rough handling but that aside this is a very good product for not much money and is extremely thin, would fit in a coat pocket for portability! Would recommend this product to freinds"

"It works and it's nice and slim.
The only drawback I see so far is that it's a little awkward to put the cds in the tray. If you misalign it goes in to the casing, not in to the draw. It's a bit fiddley to snap it on to the centre part. I don't think this would bother you for casual use but if you are burning 150 discs in a row like me it's pretty annoying.
But all in all it does the job!"

"Purchased as I needed an external USB DVD drive for a MacBook Air. It works well with the Mac and also with MS Windows laptops. Compact and stylish, yet sturdy enough for portable use. Best device of its type I have used."
