"Having bought one Beacon Animal Repeller for my daughter and seen for myself that the foxes jumped back over the fence once they started the senser. I was so impressed I bought another and fetched it back with me to Italy and have not had a cat in my garden since setting it up. I can sometimes hear the unit bleep but most times you hear nothing, but it works"

this is my second, the 1st whent into the back garden this one in the yard as cats using planeters as toilets
linked it with Masterplug 1200mA Multi-Volt Adaptor as the batteries run down quickly"

A Total load of rubbish

"This item makes a loud screaming sound whenever anything goes across the beam. It is supposed to be silent to humans which it is not, and should frighten animals, who totally ignore it. I have asked for a replacement to see if this one is faulty."

"Situated on the lawn in the middle of the garden, local cats walked towards it, stopped then jumped back over the fence. No cats or poo for weeks. Not completely rain proof, window got misty which seemed to affect performance. Took inside to dry out and smelt cat wee on patio the next day. Moving branches or washing will trigger the sensor so the batteries ran out after 6-8 weeks and was difficult to insert new ones."
