"Overall very efective, gets the job done!
The instructions are pictoral, so they take a bit of effort to understand them. Consequently, assembling the machine out of the box takes about 30 minutes.
In use, the tines on the scarifier do an excellent job of removing moss. Thatch is dealt with almost as well. Expect to remove large quatities of material on first use, much more than the collection bag can hold, so you'll make frequent trips to empty the bag.
The unit has to be pushed along at a constant speed otherwise it gets patchy.
Have tried the highest height setting only so far - which still gets the job done quite effectively. The lower settings would be quite severe, but useful if our lawn needs it.
The aerator is also very effective.
Overall a good purchase for a small to med-sized lawn, efficient, low noise levels and not too much money for what it does. Highly recommended,"

"This is a good piece of kit and it works well,the only downside(as with most scarifiers for domestic use) is the relatively small collection bag. However,if you use the machine without the bag and then rake up the moss all is well. Ive only used it on the highest setting so far.Seems well made and has a powerful motor."

"Does a great job, for the price. Much better than previous machine. Bag is less than useless, far too small, but this appears to be the case for virtually all of these machines."

"As a retired couple, scarifiing and aerating the lawn has got to be a hard job. This was excellent and so easy to use, now will look forward to the spring to set up the lawn for summer."

"Relatively easy to assemble. Did well as a scarifier although so much came off the grass that I dispensed with collection box as it filled up so quickly. Changing the cylinder for the aerating one was easy too when the instructions were followed. Delighted with my purchase and hopefully if I use it regularly my lawn should improve."
