"Brought for my parents who love it!!! It isn't as noisy as other people have reviewed and the best thing of all, it doesn't smell horrid like other fryers!!! Fish and chips are fab cooked in it :)"

"i recently purchased this for my mum,who had the active fry tefal,the parts were so flimsy it broke and parts were so expensive we went for this one,glad we did looks great and is much better than the active fry and cooks the chips and fish etc great,would difinatley recommend as great all round"

Does what it's supposed to

"I was a little disappointed with the quality of the chips it makes from fresh potatoes. I bought it to use as an alternative to the chip fryers that soak the chips in fat. This seemed like a really good healthy option, but the chips are very dry and don't taste the same, even when coated with oil before cooking as recommended.
Oven chips on the other hand cook well, but I have a small fan oven for that purpose.
It does what is says I suppose, I can't fault it for that. It's quick, reasonably quiet, and leaves very little mess. Looks smart too."
