"Bought to replace existing to put on new bed/matress- identical or so I thought but this product is of poorer quality, it is thinner and has an almost mesh like underside wheras the original was akin to a slim duvet,shame really quite disappointed with John Cotton, plus side, elasticated corner tapes far superior than skirts for holding to mattress which is another reason I replaced what I thought was like for like"

"I washed it before use and was disappointed while spreading at the end it was torn.could'nt be bothered to return it I just stitched it myself.It ok for a kid bed."

Good as a protector.

"This was not easy for me to review as I only bought it as a mattress protector for my sons bed, and as this, it does the job perfectly, however, it is advertised as a mattress topper, for which I would not have kept it, I feel it adds no additional comfort, but would protect the mattress as stated.
I am planning to buy again, but simply for a protector not a topper, as I have very good quality mattresses already, luckily it is not required as a topper."
