"This was a gift to my 4 year old from his Grandmother for Christmas and he loved it. Its styling appeals to a boy and it is compact enough to fit comfortably onto a small child's wrist. However, we had visitors recently, including a toddler of 18 months. His mother fixed the watch onto his wrist but when he wanted to take it off, he just pulled at the band. As a result, the bar which holds the strap in place came away as the plastic moulding holding the bar in place broke. It could not be mended. Obviously my 4 year old was very upset and at this price, we just replaced it, but given it is designed for children, and children tend not to operate in a vacuum, I think the manufacturing should be a bit more childproof and result in a sturdier product."
