can you cook bacon on it

2 Answers

YES! IDEAL !! Just bought one, and grilling bacon is fine on it. Max is 4 "average" slices. Fat drains well, it heats rapidly, and bacon (done to just bordering on crisp) is done in around 6 mins with turning it once. Excellent product, but no way it has a "4 slice" capacity and no good for grilling sausages or anything much thicker than bacon. HIGHLY recommended but for max. thickness approx 3/8" / 10mm.
ALSO has lots of uses as a "hot plate/warmer" if left opened up. Very Versatile.
