If you add Argos Replacement Care, provided by Domestic & General, you pay nothing for approved replacements. Just pop into an Argos store for help and assistance if your product is damaged by accident or breaks down. From the moment you buy the plan, Argos Replacement Care can help.

What's included:

  • Damage caused by accidents; like snapped power cords, cracked screens and broken buttons.
  • Breakdowns that happen outside of the manufacturer's guarantee.

What's not included:

  • Repairs.
  • Deliberate damage.
  • Commercial use.
  • Cosmetic damage that doesn't stop the product from working.

General information:

For the full list of exclusions and restrictions, please see the terms and conditions available online, or in a leaflet in Argos stores. Your statutory rights will not be affected when you buy a plan. These include the right to claim a refund, repair, or replacement for up to six years (may be different in Scotland) if your electrical goods were not of satisfactory quality or fit for purpose when they were sold to you.

You can buy a plan at the point of purchase or within 45 days of buying them. If your item is replaced under the plan, the plan will end. Your plan can be cancelled at any time within 45 days of purchase. You will receive a full refund if you have not used any of the services under the plan. After the 45 days cancellation period you may terminate the plan at any time. If you have not received a replacement we'll refund the fee paid to you for the remaining full months of the plan.

No, the Replacement Product Care starts from the day of the product's purchase.

Can I purchase cover care AFTER i have bought and paid for a product?

I am in the process of purchasing a deep fat fryer from your website. I have opted to buy cover care also. However, I have just been told the product care is 'currently out of stock'.. Is it not just a piece of paper? I really need to get cover care in case the fryer beak down, is there any way of me doing so AFTER i have purchased the fryer online? Thanks

Having looked into your query, I can confirm you can purchase the product care up to 45 days after the item has been purchased. I'm not sure why the item would show as out of stock this will be change as soon as possible.
