What type of damage is exempted?

Your answer to the question about water damage or being dropped by a child (NOt wear and tear) was unhelpful. Please confirm whether or not these types of damage are covered? Thanks

I'm sorry, but I can't advise whether or not water damage or accidental drops are covered, as these are circumstantial (for example, water damage may be covered, but not in the event of a flood). I recommend reading The General Terms and Conditions sections of the 2 Years Replacement Product Care (which can be downloaded on the product page). The list of what is and isn't exempt is extensive, and I'd simply be copy and pasting it here for you to read.

Have a good day.

Policy T&Cs re: smart watches

Have downloaded the jewellery and watch care policy v13 from the site and reading the t&cs, page 3, policy summary, under the heading "What are the significant or unusual exclusions or limitations of cover" it states smart watches. Can you please clarify that this policy DOES NOT cover a smart watch or am I reading it incorrectly? Thanks in advance

Hi Ashleigh,

I can confirm that the Argos Jewellery and Watch care policy does not apply to Smart Watches.
