The cork layer is actually no more than 1mm. It is very poor quality. It is 3 layers of cardboard covered in a very thin 1mm layer of cork.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Cathedral Cork Memo Notice Board 60 x 80cm: The thickness of the corkboard is between 3 and 5mm.

“The board weighs 1.2kg. I’m afraid we cannot advise if the command strip is suitable as that depends on the surfaces you can use command strips on, as we do not know if these are suitable for the product , being wooden framed and the wall surface.”

Yes, you could place a jigsaw puzzle on this board if flat - just be aware of the dimensions 60 x 80 cm so you know what size jigsaw this would suit.
