Good Job
This is my third vacuum of this model. Not because the others broke though. I had one for up and one for down for years, then recently passed one of those on to my daughter. So now I have a brand new one for me! I would compare these to my faithful old Dyson for suction, versatility and ease of use. Well . . . . apart from cleaning out the dust collection cylinder! Dust and bits that dont fall out when you release the catch can get stuck high up and be difficult to reach. Good luck if you manage to release the actual cylinder to clean - its so stiff - and even better luck if you can get it back in place first half dozen attempts.

The best vacuum
I had the previous model of this vacuum which was excellent and simply gave up one day after several years. This newer model is even better! Although a fraction wider, it is lighter and quieter and much better at not getting hair get caught round the beater. It has superb suction, picks up everything and fabulous for pet hair - I have a long-haired cat so there is a fair amount of hair to pick up! Is best to turn the beater off on thin rugs so as not to accidentally damage them. Carpets look super clean afterwards. Can’t recommend it enough!

Good value, good suction
We've had the Hoover for several months now and it works very well. It certainly picks up our cats Fur. It's surprising, just how much suction it has.The the lead is very long which allows us to vacuum the whole ground floor without unplugging.

Not quite as good as I had hoped
I have had this machine about a month, a couple of things are not quite right. The hand book is very feint and I cannot print a better copy, also the small attachments do not fit securely on the suction tube and keep falling off which is very frustrating. Many thanks Pauline Horwood
