About this product
Boil water fast and quietly without disturbing the morning peace. The Russell Hobbs Luna Quiet Boil Jug Kettle uses rapid boil technology to heat a single cup in 45 seconds for busy mornings or quick tea breaks. The 3000W concealed element delivers speed, while the 1.7 litre capacity handles multiple drinks when friends drop by. A smart illuminated water window with 1, 2, 3 cup indicators lets you boil exactly what you need and reduce electricity use, glowing blue when working. The sleek grey stainless steel finish looks modern, and the drip-free spout ensures clean, precise pouring.
The removable washable limescale filter works as the kettle boils to catch particles before they reach your mug, and the boil-dry protection switches it off automatically if you forget to fill it. The push-button lid opens easily, and the 360-degree base with 0.91m cable gives you flexibility for placement whether you're left or right-handed. You'll get a reassuring 2-year manufacturer's guarantee included too.

Stylish, quiet, and fast boiling kettle with easy pouring and clear water level indicators. Some users note occasional noise issues and lid design concerns, but overall well-liked for performance and design.

Much quieter than our last kettle
Our last metal kettle was De Longhi which, along with many metal kettles, was really noisy. We have used this for a week so far. It heats up quietly and is quick. It is safe, comfortable and easy to use. Very good value for money - as long as it lasts for a few years. The only downside is the design. It does not fit as well into my country style kitchen as i would like but that is a small price to pay for the efficiency and not having a roaring sound when it heats the water.

Beautiful
I am so happy with this kettle. I love the design, the square lid, shape of the spout, and the colour is divine! I'm actually driving my daughter mad because every time I use the kettle I have to pass a comment on how lovely it is.

Certainly NOT a quiet boil!
Does what it does, boil water. However this is definitely not a quiet boil kettle! Not sure if mine is faulty but it is so much louder than my previous kettle (which wasn't a quiet boil).

Bought a few weeks ago. It's a reliable brand and not too noisy. I like the blue light when it's boiling.
