About this product
Toast longer slices without flipping. The Cookworks Long Slot 4 Slice Toaster handles full-sized bread in one go with extended slots for sourdough, bloomer, crumpets and tea cakes. Cookworks Toaster - WHITE
Bought to replace a previous Branded toaster which broke. After reading reviews I thought I’d give this cheaper model a try. When you first use it, it does smell, but after reading manual it says to run it in high a few times to get rid of the smell. Luckily we’ve had some dry weather so sat with it outside and did that. After that used it as normal, and works really well. Not sure if it will toast 4 whole slices (of the bread I use) side by side though, but having 2 long slots instead of 4 smaller ones gives more options on the length of bread you can toast….which I think is good. So don’t mind it not doing 4 at once. I place the bread in the centre and I get an evenly toasted piece of toast. We tend to use setting 2-3 which seems to do the job well.

Too narrow
Bought this to replace a previous cookbooks toaster that had been great. Returned it immediately after unboxing, slots were 1.5cm narrower than previous model

Adequate toaster.
Adequate toaster for the price. It won't take 2 slices of regular sliced bread in one slot without trimming one slice. Toasts evenly, but dial needs turning down if only toasting one slice in each slot.

Poor
Thrown away after a couple of months as the quality is so poor and the toasting completely uneven. Waste of money.

Happy replacement
I bought this toaster as a temporary replacement while my more expensive toaster is being repaired. It turns out that the replacement is far better than the original one ever was.

Capacity small
Smart looking but hard to toast 4 at once, unless it's very small bread,

Super long slot toaster
Love this toaster. So much better having long slots instead of the ordinary narrow slot toasters. If you like bloomer bread or artisenal bread then this is the toaster for you. You can also toast two bagels or teacakes at the same time. Certainly great value for money too. Would definitely recommend.
