Excellent value for money

It did take a few hours to put up. The instructions were a bit 'hit and miss' and found we had quite a few screws left over dispite following instructions diligently! Once shed was up, we were extremely pleased with it, it is sturdy and has enough storage for what we needed. The added bonus was - we didn't argue once!! Great little shed and excellent value for money.

Sturdy shed

Took me and a friend a good 4 hours to put up,lots of screws left over even though we followed instructions which were at times confusing, once completed shed is very sturdy, recommend not putting up when you have even a breeze.Would recommend also buying a base before building.

my shed did the same and it was on a solid concrete floor so its nothing to do with that, in fact i found the shed to be a load of rubbish, holes never lined up. parts did not fit properly, and a good wind tore the roof right off, dispite there being a scew/nut and bolt in every hole, to hold the roof on, i got it in the september and half way through the winter i had to PAY the council to take it away as scrap. TOTALLY WASTED MY MONEY ON IT.

Do you have the shed on a solid concrete floor? If you have it on a Glass/mud or soft surface as the shed warms up inside which it will do very quickly it draws moisture from the ground, the shed needs to be ventilated.

My father in law has also got the same problem with his metal shed and we can't fathom why, other than warmish air hitting cold metal = condensation.
Sorry. It is interesting that Argos suspect a problem with the shed however.

no mate, just purchase some 10mm hex head screws from any d.i.y . check with d.i.y ,depending on wether you have concrete/wooden floor base. hope this helps.

Does this shed have a metal floor?

Even though this shed has to be put on a level base I would like to know whether it has it's own metal floor too as I can't tell from the pictures and description.

Hi Mags,

I have looked into this for you and I can confirm that there is no floor included.
However, the instruction manual does give details of how to construct a suitable base using either timber or concrete. Alternatively it can be anchored to paving stones.

I hope this helps!

Boring but important info

All sheds need to be placed and secured on a base; this can be concrete, patio slabs or wood. Putting your shed directly on the ground wouldn't be safe and would decrease the lifespan of your shed.
