Buy one at least!

This extinguisher was bought to replace one I used last week to extinguish a fire in my shed caused by a faulty weed burner. Without it I would have lost the shed and contents instead of damage to some items. The shed was saved with just slight scorching! I cannot recommend these extinguishers enough, everyone should have at least one handy, could save your property and maybe your life!

Can this product be used on electric fires?

2 Answers

Adam@Argos, you are wrong?? The extinguisher label states it can be used on electrical equipment powered up to 1000V. The extinguisher type is Dry Chemical Powder (DCP) which is suitable for electrical fires. Dry powder does not conduct electricity back to the user. Extinguishes by chemically 'breaking' the fire but does not prevent re-ignition as it has no cooling effect.

bracket

Is there a bracket with this for wall fixing, or if not, a base stand?

1 Answer

Yes there is a wall bracket, screws and plugs etc supplied, all that is required is to position bracket mark out and drill 2 holes, simple.
