Good value for the money.

Instructions not very clear so was left with a few pieces of timber batons so had to improvise. I erected this by myself on a wet and windy day (I'm 69 years old) so it can be done! Not recommended though. The roof felt was rather thin and cheap looking, so will need replacing next year. All in all reasonable good value for the money .

Garden shed

Great size shed . Quality ok the floor is a bit flimsy my husband had to put some extra support as you sank when standing on it seems to have done the job . The felt for the roof very cheap will need replacing in the year . But overall I'd recommend it if you ok to make some adjustments..

Ask a question

I have checked with the manufacturer and they have advised 'The floor is 10mm thick'.

I hope this helps

Hi Louisa,

After looking into this for you, I am sorry to advise that the panel is unable to be reversed allowing the door to be on the other side of the window. Also the door and window are located on the 8ft side, the longer side of the shed.

Thank you for using Argos Q&A

Hi Sidney,

I contacted the supplier directly so I apologise for the wait on the reply:
''The description states no base , this is a separate item from the floor and the building including the floor would sit onto a base

As this is described as a reverse apex shed the door with the window will be positioned on the longer panel , i.e. 8ft''

Thanks for using Q&A.

I was looking to buy this shed so for what I can understand there is a difference between a floor and a base the description said there is a floor and no base. The floor is the inner wooden base while the base is the cement slab or paving stone you install the shed on to keep it dry.
As for the description it is obviously a mistake (I remember seeing this kind of mistake on Argos description before and waiting for them to come back to me which they did apologising for their confusing description) the door is on the 8ft side it would be nice if somebody from Argos could answer your question.
Hope this help.

The small print

All sheds need to be placed and secured on a base; this can be concrete, patio slabs or wood. Putting your shed directly on the ground wouldn't be safe and would decrease the lifespan of your shed.
