Works great with Alexa

Don’t go for the cheap ones, I’ve tried them and you always get problems. I’ve had them installed for just over a month and no problems. Alexa switch off the lamp.

Works a treat!

I'm using this smart plug to control a lamp in my hallway. By using either of my two Google Home devices or Google Assistant on my phone, I can control the lamps from home or from anywhere in the world. I need never come into a dark house again! The plug was very easy to install, and has worked flawlessly since being installed.

Hi BenC

This is the HS-100

Thank you for using Argos Q&A

Hi there,

I have looked into this and can advise that the socket can be used normally whilst this plug is being used.

Thanks for using Argos Q&A.

Do you mean by turning ON/OFF button through the app?

If yes, we don’t have data about how many ON/OFFs can be done on the Smart Plug.

It is not advised to turn ON/OFF Smart plug continuously as it may damage the plug, or it may damage the app.

I hope this helps. :)
