About this product

Bedwetting is common in children and young people. Parents don't often want to discuss it but you are not alone – one in seven children over the age of five regularly wet their bed. The Alarm waking them up when they wet the bed is a common and effective method of training children and young people out of bedwetting. They learn to wake up at the sensation of a full bladder rather than after the event.

  • Model number: 5858161.

Winner of 1st place award from the u. K. Association of continence advisors.

The dry night trainer resembles a child's watch. The alarm has two sensors which discreetly loop through the sleeve of the pyjamas, through to the underwear in order to detect any droplets of urine. When the sensor reacts to wetness an alarm will sound - waking the child up to alert them that they need to use the toilet. The alarm will then stop to allow the child to use the toilet and return to sleep.

The uk national institute for clinical ecxcellence recommends the use of a bedweetiing alarm to help tret and break the bed wetting cycle of children.

The dry night trainer is an effective treatment for nocturnal enureis (medical name for bedwetting). Once a run of 14 nights of being dry is established then the child no longer needs to use the alarm.
