Easy set up

I bought this for a home cinema that I set up . Setup was straight forward . The wireless sub woofer and rear speakers linked up remotely with the soundbar themselves,so that was handy . The sound quality is very mpressive , I am an amateur when it comes to stuff like this and I was very impressed . The only problem I have had so far is connecting with Bluetooth . It's a bit temperamental, however great when it works. I have it connected it to my plays toon with an optical cable. You have to go into setting and change the output to optical cable if you do it this way. It's the same if you connect it up to your television with an optical cable . You have to go to setting and change the output to external speakers. I have also noticed that if I stream programs or movies through my PlayStation you only get sound from the sound bar and subwoofer. I think this is what happens if you stream , not sure though, so that is a little dissapointing.

Welcome back Sony!

Bought this as it came with powered rear Bluetooth speakers and I think it's the first system I have had that gives you true surround sound, everybody comments on it when they hear the sound, makes all other soundbars obsolete so welcome back sony, cracking piece of kit!

Matches Bravia TV

Plug and play, unit comes with optical lead which can be plugged into the optical output of the TV. Uses ARC connection as well. Use Dolby as this will give a better sound when used. I prefer to use it's own remote control. Take advantage of the set up microphone and the Infra red repeater if it blocks the TV IR receiver. Use on screen set up The sound quality is good, some programmes are just in stereo while adverts are in Dolby. Great for movies on TV or recorded as they are Dolby encoded.

Hi there,

I can advise that, other than the power cables, these speakers are wireless.

Hope this helps!
