I bought this for at grandparents house and for holidays. It is easy to put up and fold away. It is sturdy and the bassinet has been brilliant. The mattress is comfortable and can easily be used for safe sleeping.

Good for occasional use
Reasonably priced, functional travel cot. It’s used on an occasional basis for when my granddaughter stays over. The cot is easy to put up and fold down and stores neatly under a bed when not in use. The mattress is quite thin but I guess that is the case with many travel cots.

Disappointing.
Bought it for rental property. Heavy -so portability v v poor. Took ages to yank into position & hard to dismantle. Placement of metal frame & thin mattress... feels uncomfortable. Not sure about safety of mattress given it's hard base - & it has gaps in foam cover - my hand touches the hard base. Am taking it back.

Too tightly boxed
The cot is very good in every way except one, namely, on unpacking we found that the mattress was distorted because it was used as a wrapper for the cot and it was squeezed too tightly into the packaging. In fact we bought two identical items and chose the one in which the mattress was less crushed. Our grandchild slept very well in the cot over several nights.

Sturdy and easy to put up, but mattress was damaged and had large dents in lots of places all the way through to the wood underneath so unusable.

"We confirm that our Allura travel cot functions in much the same way as most standard travel cots, simply open, lock the sides then push the centre of the floor downwards. To fold, pull the floor upwards then the sides will unlock."

The mattress supplied with the Allura travel cot is safe to be used, as this has been tested and is certified and meets all necessary safety standards.

The 15KG is across the board on this, so the bassinet will also support this. However be mindful that once the child is able to sit up unaided then you shouldn't be using the bassinet.

"The bassinet limit is 9kg, however discontinue using bassinet when child can sit, kneel or roll over or pull itself up.
The travel cot is suitable from birth to 15kg. Discontinue using travel cot when child reaches 15 kg (approximately 86 cm in height) or is able to climb out."

This is designed to be firm but soft and supportive. Please ensure you are not using another mattress than the one supplied.
The mattress can be used in both the bassinet and the travel cot.
