Five year life?

I have bought this toothbrush both for myself and for a friend. We both find it excellent, but both failed after five years, for different reasons. My friend only charged hers when it needed it, and it finally refused to be charged any more, so presumably the battery failed. I kept mine on charge all the time; the battery was fine, but the toothbrush suffered a catastrophic mechanical failure. However, I think that five years is a reasonable lifetime, and we have both replaced the toothbrush with another identical one.

Great improved design

I bought this on the recommendation of my dentist. I was unsure that it would make any difference from my previous rechargeable toothbrushes but I am very impressed. The shape of the head gets to those awkward smaller places. The timer is a good idea, time to move on to the next quarter of your mouth. The only downside for me is the smooth barrel, when coated in toothpaste I keep dropping the toothbrush into the sink. I think a ridged barrel like the old ones would be better. My dentist was impressed with the improved condition of my gums in just 2 weeks.

Much better results than previous( other make ) of tooth brush.

My teeth feel thoroughly cleaned after using this brush. Occasionally, I have inadvertently pressed the extra pressure button, while using the brush. I find it difficult, when I'm in a hurry to anticipate when the sessions are going to finish, so that I'm left with extra time. These are minor details, as it is the results which count and with these, I am completely satisfied.
