Looks good, but a bit noisy!

Good quality lamp, kids mesmerized by it, but not quite as relaxing as it is a bit noisy. Also no on/off, just colour changing mode so have to turn off from plug!

Like a real fish tank

The only issue I have is that you have to unplug it to switch off the button only changes the colour mixes. Overall though I'm really happy with this fish type lava lamp. Colour changes are great and can suit any mood or environment and the size is great. I really like it and so does my cat, he sits for hours watching it

Fish in lava lamp just sink to bottom

We love this lamp have had it ages and no trouble. except for the plastic fish no longer get swept up in bubble flow and just hang out at the bottom and we can't see them. we have cleaned out. changed the water ...distilled... and wiped the plastic fish Any tips or advice?

1 Answer

Once you have changed the water..you must wash the fish again like the first time you used it.
Then rinse them really well. Once the lamp is running put them in one at a time and see if this helps.

are there actual fish in it is that the reason we need to refill every now and then?

The fish are plastic. Real fish would not survive. This is for entertainment only.
The water will evaporate after time and you will need to refill the tank.

Hello there,

The are plastic fish within this unit, the reason for refill is for evaporation of water over time.
