I'm cooking warm meals all day

Great you just need to plan your meals more, and easy to put on. Storage of it is a bit of a pain but worth it in the end .

Is the 5.5 Litre slow cooker a good size for a family of four adults? I wouldn't particularly want to prepare more than enough for one meal.

Does it matter if you don't fill it? I'm really not sure what size to buy!

1 Answer

This slow cooker is an excellent size for a famil of four. I am a single user and I cook a batch up and then freeze what i dont use for later.

Should the liquid not simmer or bubble a little on high?

2 Answers

Hi Claire 22,

I have looked into this for you and can confirm that the food will boil on the high setting so it should simmer and bubble somewhat. It may be necessary to add extra liquid, depending on the recipe and the amount of time in which it is cooked. Food should be occasionally monitored when using the high setting.

I hope this helps,
Thank you for using Argos Q&A
