Great value for money!

Great large slow cooker, does what it should do and as a warm setting. Basic but that's all you need and won't break the bank!

Too fierce.

Maybe I just got a bad one as no-one else seems to have this problem but on Low it bubbled not just a nice gentle soft bubble which I would have thought when cooking something for hours on end would be too much I luckily I was home and able to turn off the stew much earlier than the recipe said.

Is it economical to use a slow cooker overnight to cook than using a conventional pot over owen cooking?

Hi, thank you for your question.

I have checked this for you and found that although you are using a slow cooker over a longer period the slow cooker is more economical than an oven as you are required to heat the whole oven to cook.

Thank you for using Q & A.

Hi, thank you for your question.

I have looked into this and can confirm that the Cookworks Signature 6.5 Litre Slow Cooker is 320 watts. The higher the wattage the more it will cost to run the appliance. Without knowing the wattage of your oven I would not be able to say if this is more economical or not. However, I have found out that slow cookers generally use less energy to cook the same amount of food as other methods so are more economical.
