Very good heater

Great little heater kept my bedroom very warm after my heating broke down economical to run too I would recommend this heater I left it on through the night on lowest setting my room was nice and warm also rather than clip the wheels on we gently slid them on much easier that risking breaking them trying to clip them proved to be a little to hard to do put on casters then slide the whole legs on from one end of the unit to the position required much easier this way

How much does this cost to run per hour ? Does it have a thermostat or timer?

We have recently had one delivered which DOES have a thermostat as it states in the product description but which is NOT shown in the illustrations or listed in the detailed specification.

700 watt costs about 10p per hour this model is only on or off.

Hi, thank you for your question.

I have taken a look into this and I can confirm that the radiator does not have a timer or thermostat as it only has one temperature setting.

Does this item require hardwiring into the mains or is it supplied with a plug? Also, can this item be used in a humid room such as a bathroom?

Challenge 0.7kW Oil Filled Panel Radiator

Hi, i have looked into this, and it has a plug attached to it.
Bathrooms do not have mains electric sockets, so you would not be able to plug it in for safety reasons.
Another bit of information i read was it can be walled mounted, to save space, in another room.

The challenge 0.7kw oil filled panel radiator is supplied with a plug. It can not be used in a bathroom as it is plugged into mains electric.

This item would be supplied with a 13a plug or there abouts. As for use in bathrooms, there would be no plug socket in a bathroom as electrical sources are not recommended for obvious reasons. If the item was simply heating an area prior to use then removed then why not. Do check though that the heat output would also be enough to heat the area of the said room.
