Cosy heat for legs!

Bought this to heat my very small shop. Does the job ok. The closer you are the better. Keeps the draft off my legs when the door is open. Would need much higher wattage for heating a whole room.

where do I buy the oil to refill the radiator?

Will I need to keep changing the oil inside the radio? And how do I go about to changing the oil from radiator?

1 Answer

Hello,
The oil inside the radiator does not need to be changed or replaced. It is just the medium that distributes the heat, and is not used up by the radiator.

I would like to know the rating on this item as it does not list on wether it is A,B,C etc as i need to buy an A rated appliance

1 Answer

The A/B/C are efficiency ratings. A means an appliance wastes a small amount of energy as heat; C means it wastes a lot of energy as heat.

But this IS a HEATER. It's entire raison d'être is to output heat, so energy efficiency is irrelevant.

It runs at 1.5kW. This is 1 unit of electricity every forty minutes. At current prices, you are looking at 15 to 20p per hour. It will probably be much less than that if the room retains heat effectively, so the heater can switch itself off when the set-point has been reached.
