Can you confirm the model supplied please

I think the image on your website may have changed, but not the description. I purchased this item the other day and was given the product shown in the picture, but this model does not come with the EEC (Electronic Climate Control) feature or a remote control which is listed in the product description. Please can you confirm which model should be supplied, thanks.

Hello,

Electric portable heating remains the most cost effective solution for providing emergency or supplementary heat for a particular space in your home or office. In order to work out an accurate running cost for your heater you can use this following calculator:

Calculating an accurate running cost varies from room to room because of many variables, number of door, windows, aspect etc. However the following calculation can be used to provide a broad idea:

Energy input (kW) x pence per kWh= running cost.

For example a 2kW fan heater run continuously (without stopping) for 1 hour would be:

2kW x 14p/kWh = 28 pence per hour

The above calculation is based on 0.14p per kWh - please check with you current electricity bill for an actual hourly rate you are paying.

In addition electric portable heating offers the following additional benefits:
•Highly portable
•Stylish designs to suits all needs and applications
•No need for heavy or costly gas bottles

Just plug in and go! Thank you for using Argos Q&A.

Could you tell me please can this heater be set to come on several times during a 24 hour period. Needed for a holiday cottage to keep damp at bay.

The property will be empty for a few weeks at a time so the heater is needed when it is empty. Is it safe to do so. We will also be using a dehumidifier for this purpose. Many thanks.

Hello,
Setting the current time to come on and off can be set a total of 4 times. Below is an example of how this occurs.
1. Press the ‘PROGRAM’ button ONCE. The clock symbol
appears on the top left hand side of the screen. The user
can now set the clock.
2. The hour digit will flash. To adjust the hour use the ‘-‘ &
‘+’ buttons. Confirm the hour digit by pressing ‘ENTER’.
3. Once ‘ENTER’ has been pressed the minutes will flash.
To adjust the minutes use the ‘-‘ & ‘+’ buttons. Confirm the
minute digit by pressing ‘ENTER’.
4. The timer now returns to the default display.
5. To reset incorrect time, repeat previous steps.
Once the correct time is set, a total of four ON/OFF time
programs can be set for operation. Thank you for using Argos Q&A.
