Can you raise and lower the grill or the fire tray to vary the distance of the food from the fire

1 Answer

Hi, thanks for your query.

The height of the grill and fire tray are fixed at the height shown in the photograph so the distance unfortunately cannot be varied. To use the rotisserie, the grill has to be removed from the firebowl. Hope this info helps.

Have a nice day.

Do you put the coals on the bottom tray

in the picture it shows the coals on the underneath tray,is this where the coals go or is the underneath tray ment for cooking closer to the heat, and the coals actually go on the very bottom of the barrels, thanks

1 Answer

Hi there.

Thanks for using Q and A

The coals go on the tray underneath rather than the bottom of the barbecue.

Hope this helps.

I refer to the placement of Charcoal in BBQ

Hi There. in the instructions for lighting it states that the charcoal is placed in the charcoal grate, which I assume is named in the parts list as the charcoal grill. however in the care and maintenance it states not advisable to overfill the firebowl.!!!!!!! so does the charcoal go in the firebowl or the grill plate?grate.?

Hi there,

I can confirm that the charcoal should be place on the charcoal grill.

Thanks for using Argos Q&A.
