About this product
Extend your Wi-Fi coverage into every corner of your home with the TP-Link RE200 AC750 Universal Wi-Fi Booster, a range extender designed to eliminate dead zones and bring reliable connectivity to areas your router can't reach. Delivering fast dual band Wi-Fi with speeds up to 750Mbps, it creates strong, dependable connections for laptops, smartphones, tablets and other wireless devices. Dual band technology provides two networks, running at up to 300Mbps on 2.4GHz and 867Mbps on 5GHz, letting you match each device to the band that suits its needs and keep everything running smoothly.
Smart signal lights remove guesswork by showing the signal strength the RE200 receives from your router, helping you find the sweet spot for optimal coverage. The extender supports a, b, g and n wireless standards, ensuring broad compatibility with your network. Setup is straightforward, and once positioned, the RE200 works quietly to replace dead zones with strong, fast Wi-Fi in every room, whether streaming upstairs, working in the back bedroom, or browsing in the gar.

Customers Say
TP-Link WiFi extender is easy to set up, affordable, and improves signal in some areas, but has limited range and occasional connectivity drops. Setup instructions and password management can be confusing.

Easy to use
Did what i needed it to. Allowed me to connect to a wifi hotspot and then plug Ethernet cable into. Few mins to setup as in connect it to the hotspot with username and password. Cheap and the to link app is good. This is fourth different tplink product i have purchased and have always good experience. Well done!

Poor
Only had the booster a few days so will need to try it in different areas but up until now it has made little or no difference. Thinking of returning it. So far a waste of money.

tp-link AC750 limitations
When making the initial setup you have to be very close to the router so the extended range isn't as good as described as we want to use our laptops in the garden. We have both android and apple versions. The apple laptop becomes slow and drops to two on the strength scale about 15m from the extender, the android laptop faired better.

OK at best.
It's OK at best. It has to be quite close to my router, so it doesn't boost the signal in my dead areas. Having said that, the signal is stronger in areas that previously were quite poor, and set up is fairly easy. For the price, it's acceptable, but I will need to buy a better one , so my signal in distant areas is stronger. You live and learn.

Good product, terrible instructions
Bought to boost home broadband connection in upstairs bedroom. Easy to connect the extender to my existing wireless router using the quick start guide in the box. Nightmare to connect my own devices (phones etc) to the extender following that, though. All instructions and videos I could access said repeatedly that the password was the same for the extender as for your normal Wi-Fi password. Turns out that’s rubbish - it’s a different password. The TP app created a separate password that I could not change, which was 64 (sixty four!) characters long. I tried copying and pasting this password repeatedly to sign in to the extender, and it did not work. Turns out you can only manually type the password, it won’t accept a copy and paste or screenshot. Again, nothing in the instructions about this. Once I tried typing the 64 characters in as a last resort, eureka, it worked! All good now, but what limited hair I had before starting the setup process was long gone by the time I got it working.

Overall this device is very useful if you can locate it within a suitable area in your house it can provide you with great coverage and excellent speed. Connectivity to your current Wi-Fi is very And the compatibility is universal so it’s a very simple process to set this device up. Also the bandwidth is excellent however this is dependent on the current speed of your Internet.

Hi,
No, we recommend a distance of approximately 8 to 12 meters (26.25 to 39.37 feet) between the range extender and the router. Therefore, your distance is too far.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello Skylar.
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for TP-Link RE200 AC750 Universal Wi-Fi Booster- Range Extender.
Yes, the TP‑Link RE200 AC750 Wi‑Fi Extender can help improve your Wi‑Fi coverage when using Sky Full Fibre.
It works by boosting your existing Wi‑Fi signal, helping extend coverage to areas of your home where the signal may be weak or drop out.
The RE200 is compatible with Sky routers, as it supports standard Wi‑Fi connections. Simply place it between your router and the area with poor signal for the best results.
Thank you for using Q & A.

Hi,
You can use two extenders together in a single network. To ensure optimal network quality, it is recommended to connect both extenders directly to the host router's Wi-Fi network instead of connecting one extender to another. Assign a different Wi-Fi name to the first extender so you can separate its Wi-Fi from your router's. The setup process for adding a second extender is the same as for the first one.
If both the router and the extenders support the EasyMesh feature, you can follow the instructions provided in this link: https://www.tp-link.com/uk/support/faq/3582/...
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi,
The extender can connect to and extend a phone's mobile hotspot Wi-Fi. The setup process for connecting to a mobile hotspot Wi-Fi is the same as connecting to a router. However, some hotspot Wi-Fi may not be stable as phones are not specially made for sharing Wi-Fi. Moving the phone's position frequently may also influence the extender's connection.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi,
TP-Link extenders work with any Wi-Fi-enabled device (phones, laptops, IoT devices, etc.) that supports standard Wi-Fi protocols (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax).

Hello Sezza.
TP-Link RE200 AC750 Universal Wi-Fi Booster- Range Extender:

Thank you for using Q & A.
Hello Lee,
The TP-Link RE200 AC750 Universal Wi-Fi Booster- Range Extender is designed to be compatible with any standard 802.11 b/g/n or 802.11ac Wi-Fi router, including Linksys devices, enabling it to bridge and expand the wireless signal.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi,
A range extender can help improve coverage, but it works by extending your existing network rather than creating a new one. For best results, the primary network (your main router provided by YouFibre) should be stable and working well before adding a range extender.
The Wi-Fi range of TP-Link range extenders varies depending on environmental factors such as physical obstacles, wireless interference, and the capabilities of the wireless client. Consequently, there is no fixed coverage distance. If experiencing insufficient range, follow these steps:
1. Reposition the extender and adjust its antennas to enhance signal transmission. Refer to this link for detailed instructions: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/3103/...
2. Upgrade the extender's firmware to the latest.
Thanks for using Q&A.
