What exactly is eco drive??

1 Answer

Hello, thank you for your question.

I have looked into your query regarding the Citizen Men's Eco-Drive Two-Tone Bracelet Watch. Eco-Drive is when the watch absorbs sunlight and/ or any artificial light through special filters and the solar cell beneath, coverts any form of light into electrical energy which is stored in the lithium-ion rechargeable battery to power the watch.

Thank you for using Argos Q&A.

If I did not need the watch and I put it in a drawer, how much time would to take to drain? As it does need a lithium-ion battery, how long would it take for that to be replaced?

1 Answer

It states in the book that a full charge will last up to six months. There is also a guide to what light gives what charge and how long it takes to fully charge. As for changing the battery that should never arise.

Boring but important info

WATCHES-WATER RESISTANT-GENERAL

Water resistant. An indication that the watch can withstand reasonable exposure to water, the measure of depth (30m, 50m, 100m, 200m) is an indication of the extent of that resistance, the higher the depth the greater the resistance. The figures are however based on still, cold water, and the resistance performance of the watch may be affected by temperature, movement and other factors.
