Very quiet alarm but otherwise OK

This seems a decent robust piece of kit for the money. The battery seems to charge fine from just dull daylight. The only disappointment is that the alarm is very quiet and unless you were sitting in complete silence you'd be lucky to hear it. However, you have to take the very reasonable price into account so all in all it's a nice watch.

Casio

Watch is right size for an adult. Looks great. Works no hassle. One disadvantage glass on top is plastic so it got marks in touch with solvent - not major but would be much better with glass top.

How long does the solar powered battery last?

I understand that the watch is solar powered, but presumably the solar charger powers a battery that the watch runs from. In my experience rechargeable batteries don't last indefinitely, I would like to know the expected life of the battery.

1 Answer

Hi,

Thank you for your question.

I can confirm that having spoken to Casio, they have confirmed that the battery should last as long as the watch, so 20+ years if it is looked after correctly. The watch will require one full recharge every 6 months, where it is left in direct sunlight for at least 12 hours without being worn.

Thanks for using Q&A.

what is the smallest size this will go on the wrist

i need to know whether this will fit round a teenager wrist

1 Answer

Hi,

It should be possible to get the watch to fit a wrist as small as approx 15.5 cm, however this would leave a lot of strap flapping around after the buckle has been fastened.

Have a good day.
