No good for Dwarf hamsters

Upper slopes far too steep and platforms too narrow. Might suit a Syrian hamster but no good for Dwarf hamsters. I will be giving my cage to charity.

Dwarf Hamsters? Yes or no please

One of your reviews states they use it for Husky Dwarfs, but I'd just like clarification

No, minimum cage size for a hamster would be 80 cm. wide by 50 cm. Also a dwarf hamster may easily escape through bar cages if the gaps are too big, Try looking for a Zoo Zone or Zoo Zone 2 as long as you mesh the top.
Almost all pet shop cages are unsuitable for a hamster to live in, usually they are just far too small. The bare minimum size that most hamster communities agree on is 60x40cm but its always better to buy a bigger cage than this if you can.
Keep in mind that some communities especially those in EU countries have higher expectations for cage sizes. Remember that hamsters prefer floor space over height so a cage that is long and wide is better than a tall cage with lots of shelves.

Hi Jules,

It is suitable for Russian dwarves (but not Roborovski’s) from 8 weeks of age.

Hi Jumbo,

I can confirm that it is suitable for Russian dwarves (but not Roborovski’s) from 8 weeks of age

Yes, it's quite a big cage and it will take them a bit of time to get used to the ladders / slides. I have a Syrian hamster but the cage seems a bit small for him, so for a dwarf it will be fine no problem.

How much are spaces between bars?

I wonder why this cage is not suitable for Roborovski hamster as one member of staff said that. The spaces between bars might be too wide for small hamster to escape. Roborovski is the smallest kind of hamster.
