Better than I thought it would be.
opened box and surprised how much bigger it was compared to the box. It was easily put together and soon wired up. I just placed the aerial in my loft and dropped the lead through a hole in my ceiling and plugged it into my TV. I turned on my TV and to my surprise i now have a really good picture, I still have not attached the fixing bracket or tried to get a better picture! This item was great value for the money.

NOT an outside ariel - for loft mounting.
Not an 'outside' ariel. 1 sentence within 2 small font a4 pages of instructions saying 'not suitable for outside pole mounting'. Instructions are elbow over bum, diagrams aren't of this ariel. What a waste of time and money

Very good and easy to set up
Having had an extension to my house I was in need of an aerial for the tv. I eventually bought this one from Argos as write up fitted what I was looking for. From opening the box the instructions were straight forward and easy to follow. Everything I needed was in the box, all aerial components and the bracket to fit it on to. Again easy instructions of how to use. Fitted it and pointed the aerial the same way as my neighbours and hey presto a perfect picture, picking all the digital free channels. So easy, complete, user friendly and all at a reasonable price. I would recommend this to others looking for a low cost quality aerial.

2nd one I've had. Gets a good signal. Tip: connect co-ax to box before putting it onto aerial, makes the job easier.

If you are wanting use use internet tv channels then a Philex 48 Element Outdoor TV Aerial will not help as this is to allow you to use the freeview services. I would suggest either looking into getting a wired connection from your router to the TV or switch to using freeview channels via this aerial.

It's an aerial.To get internet tv,connect the tv to wifi or a cable from your bt hub,or similar
